so a starbucks iced unsweetened coffee made with nonfat milk (as listed online) is 25 calories w/ 2 g of protein. an iced unsweetened latte made with nonfat milk is 90 (MFP, 130 listed online) with 12 g of protein.

whats the difference between an iced coffee vs an iced latte that makes them differ in calories, and which one would YOU want to drink?

Isn't it the syrup? I think lattes have syrup and ice coffee is just coffee and milk???

iced flavored latte - Full-bodied espresso with cold milk and your choice of syrup, poured over ice.

Or possibly the amount of milk used? I've never had an iced coffee but a latte is pretty milky...

I want a latte. Actually I want either an iced skinny mocha or an iced skinny caramel macchiato....

I'd say when steaming the milk for a hot latte you create a foam which is less dense so less milk fills the same volume. Makes sense. Right now I could do iced

An iced coffee is mostly coffee with a bit of milk (1 ounce or so)...a latte is espresso with 8oz of milk (or more, depending on the size).

The amount of milk is the difference. I get an unsweetened iced coffee.

A 12oz iced coffee with milk is made with around 8oz of coffee and 4oz of milk.
A 12oz iced latte is made with around 1.5oz of espresso and 10.5oz of milk.

The exact numbers may be off, but the idea is the same: the latte is mostly milk while the coffee is mostly coffee.

It's the amount of milk. The iced coffee has a splash in it, the latte is like 3/4 cup milk with an espresso shot. Today I had a venti sugar free caramel iced coffee for 40 cals,
