I have both on hand, I like to put PB2 in my oatmeal and some cookie recipes as a flavoring. Although if you get that craving for creamy peanut butter on toast or apples, I'd go for the real thing.0

I use organic almond butter because it has less saturated fat (although similar calories) and I also have a peanut intolerance.0

I've been using the Great Value Natural Peanut Butter from Walmart. Before that I was using the Jif Natural. because the regular peanutbutters all had Partially Hydrogenated Oil in them.
I use PB2 in my shakes though and it is great.
What I really love when I can get it is the fresh ground peanut butter from Publix's Deli. it is incredible.0 -
For those saying that they don't see what's wrong with regular peanut butter, while it may be a "source of healthy fats", at 200 calories a serving, it's not something you can indulge in a lot if you are on a calorie restrictive diet. For people like me who are completely obsessed with peanut butter and like to put it on/in everything, PB2 is the most wonderful thing ever. 2 tablespoons is only 45 calories, and because you add water, you can make it as thick as you want. I love making it more liquidy and using it as a dip! Put it in smoothies, oatmeal, shakes, cereal, baked goods, etc.
Regular PB is good, but it's just too high in calories.0 -
I used to eat Better 'N Peanut Butter. It's not bad. Now I just eat Natural PB, Almond Butter, Soy Nut Butter in small quantities.
I love fruit butter too in small amounts, like fig butter and pumpkin butter.

Peanut flour! Tastes just like PB2 without the added sugar and has 16 g protein per 1/4 cup. Far less expensive than PB2 as well. I purchased mine from iherb.com (protein plus peanut flour). You can purchase it from byrdmill.com. Great stuff to add into smoothies, yogurt, use for baking, etc.
PB2 basically IS peanut flour. And it doesn't have any added sugar.

pb2 or I think jif makes a less fat PB. However, that being said did you know PB has more antioxidants than blueberries? FYI, the fat in PB is a good fat. PB2 is dried peanuts that you reconstitute in water. Some people like it. I think it is good for mixing in shakes, but not on its own.

Love PB2. I do not eat a lot of peanut butter but I always keep PB2 on hand for when I have a craving. Tastes just like peanut butter but a lot less calories.0

I use powdered PB for smoothies and puddings. (Just the Great Stuff - not PB2). For dipping or sammiches I just use natual organic PB (Bee's Knees)0

Any nut butter is going to have a lot of cals, just exercise restraint. I eat it from time to time.0

The walmart I go to has a zero calorie Peanut Spread and when I am hungry and don't have many calories I will use it. Not as good as Jiff, kind of fluffy. I like Jiff much better :-)

Homemade nut butters are super easy to make. Toast your nuts (I love almonds, walnuts and sunflower seeds) in the oven until fragrant.
Put in blender. Slowly add grapeseed oil until you get the consistency you want. Add a pinch of salt. Add a pinch of stevia (optional).
Including the 10 minutes of toasting your nuts time, it takes 12 minute to make, 2 minutes to spoon into your container.0 -
PB2 is ok, but expensive. I stick to low fat Jif pb. I only use a tablespoon at a time.0

I eat Skippy. I won't settle for anything else. I just moderate how much I eat or compensate in other meals and exercise.0
