I am not doing the South Beach Diet, but I was given the diet cookbook. Has anyone made any of the recipes and liked them?? If so which ones did you like?

I have literally never made a SB recipe that I haven't liked! They are some of the only "diet" recipes my slim husband ever requests. The Arugula and Basil Linguine is good, Garlic and Soy Pork Chops are amazing, Bolivian Spiced Pork Chops are fabulous (especially the Split Peas), Souffles Stuffed Chicken, Chicken and Eggplant Casserole, Chicken Capri, and several more that I've made that would make this list REALLY long! Enjoy, it's a fabulous book!

    HI!

All of the recipes are great! We especially liked the breakfast foods, like the frittatas. The vegetable Quiche Cups To Go are great to make ahead, and grab before work. I liked the Savory Chicken Saute, and my husband and kids liked the Grilled Salmon with Rosemary. We all loved the South Beach Mashed "Potatoes." My husband lost over 30 pounds with this way of eating, but sadly stopped eating healthy and gained it back. I think the food is really fresh and flavorful, you just cook a lot, and use every pot and pan in your house. That is the drawback. Since you are just using it for a good cookbook, I think you will enjoy it. Good Luck!
