Hi everyone. I'm Jackie. This is my hundredth time to try to lose weight. I have good intentions but I'm a sweets addict. I joined the gym and lost 11 lbs but I have a problem staying faithful to my diet. I need some motivational buddies to keep me from giving up again. I started at 193 and now I'm at 182. I need to lose about 40 more lbs but feel like I'm all alone in this battle. So I'd appreciate some friends so we can keep each other going. Have a great week everyone!

Hi Jackie! I'm with you! I weigh around 179 right now and am hoping to get down to 150 by the end of February. I am doing "The Simple Diet" by James Anderson, MD. He advocates drinking 3 protein shakes, 2 healthy (up to 300 calorie) frozen meals, and lots of fruit and veggies. So far, two days in, I feel great. Check it out.1

I started 2 months ago at 195, and now I weigh 179. I'm 5'4, and apart from when I go out for a daily jog, I am hugely sedentary, so I can also use some motivation!

Hi Jackie,
The best way to diet is to be flexible, if you can't see yourself doing what you are doing in twelve mo this it will fail. You should still eat the things you love but just limit it. I eat a little sweet stuff everyday and I still lose weight, it helps take the edge away and stop binges, you just have to be consistent with both diet and exercise, I am happy to add anyone as friends0
