Fat Loss Plateau

I shared what has been working for me for 11 months and what advice I have gotten from my doctors and from my personal trainer. I can tell you without a double that I have dramatically increased my muscle density and tone and have lost 4 sizes this year alone. It has been working, maybe it won't for everyone, maybe it won't work forever. My advice is to seek help if you don't have the answers, but the bottom line is: Do what makes you happy or whatever works for you or whatever you believe will work or help you...
But the really interesting part is that you try to do something nice and helpful and basically get attacked on the internet...which seems....counter intuitive...
Your advice was great. There are certain topics on MFP that tend to get a rise on MFP. One of them has to do with "eating right", and there will be objectors. If you stick with saying "in my experience" it will go well. But blanket statements or generalities will get attention.0 -
... I eat full meals (full plates!) of lean protein and veggies and I struggle to eat 1000-1200 calories a day.
That's what constitute my diet as well, though I have rice (I love rice, I'm sorry, but I'm beginning to think it might be the reason why my flab won't go away XD)GottaBurnEmAll wrote: »To develop the muscles, you need to do what's called progressive overload. I found some yoga for strength online, I'm wondering if they will be enough to lower my fat percentage. I know my muscles are there when I flex them, but yeah, they're hidden by fat. OTL
I'll look up progressive overload and recomposition. I'm fine with my weight increasing as long as it's from muscle mass and not fat~ XD
Thank you all for your help, I will post an update when I get to try some of your suggestions~
EDIT: Btw, just to be clear, my idea of muscle build is just..uh, lean body with slight hint of muscles underneath. I don't actually want to bulk up. My current problem is just losing fat percentage is all~0 -

rice has nothing to do with not losing fat. I eat rice. as for bulking up you wont as you are female and dont have the testosterone men have. I have been lifting 4 years and have not "bulked" up. even if you eat in a surplus you wont get bulky. you may weigh more but you will be smaller if you build muscle. but if you gain muscle you will gain some fat,its just how it works.for me lifting in a deficit and working out is what helped me lose the fat, the weight lifting helped more than the cardio, but thats me.1 -
small waists can be down to genetics in general but lifting weights will really help and you should be able to lose a few more off your current size.0
