Pros and cons for the Cambridge diet...

I have a friend who is doing a maxi get on it. I am seriously struggling to get motivated a day would also like to achieve fab results (have lost motivation as have been dieting here and there for years - novelty has worn off!). I am now heavier than I have ever been before...so what are the benefits and drawbacks to this diet? Thanks in advance :)
