declining free food

when I'm at working someone would offer me free lunch or bring me a plate of food. I can't bring myself to say no . Does anyone else have this issue and if so how did you stop. Do you also decline dinner/lunch dates?

I usually plan my days out to know what I am eating, but I also try to leave around 300 calories for unexpected foods. If I use those calories then I don't get something special at the end of the day which sometimes helps me say no.
As for telling a coworker you don't want a free lunch or plate of food maybe have a talk with them at the beginning of the shift/day and let them know you're working on losing weight and will be bringing your own food.0
