What calorie range for success?

I've been doing macros with a coach for 6 months.. She has me at 1800 calories which still feels like so much food. Considering dropping my calories to 1500-1600... Just because I feel I will still lose weight but I won't have to eat as Much.. Looking to hear about what calorie range was Successful For All those Who have been able to lose weight.. Please lost sw, cw, height, how active your lifestyle is and how often you work out.

doesn't really matter what we do - find what works for you. "Suggested" or "Calories for the Average Person" don't apply because 'average' almost never happens in a sample group. I like about 1200-1300. That's me. You do you and keep talking with your coach until you figure it out.5

how much weight have you lost in the 6 months you'v eaten 1800 cals?
for me its about eating as much as you can while still losing weight, not as little as possible....
and also, if you have a coach, who presumably you pay, you should be asking them about changing the plan, not us.6 -
It also depends on the weight you want to lose muscle or fat? It takes calories to maintain Muscle I would stick to the 1800 and up the intensity of your workout. I did 1800 calories for a long time lost a lot of muscle and fat over the course year now do around 3000 and look much better lower fat more muscle.3

There is no one-size-fits-all answer for this question. It's a matter of finding what works best for you, your specific metabolism and lifestyle. I'm 4' 11", work 8-hours a day at a desk job, have a 3-hour commute and spend about an hour weight lifting each day. I'm currently 115-117 lbs. and maintain on 1,400-1,600. If I drop below 1,400, or simply don't eat back exercise calories, I'll lose. If I increase cardio, I'll lose. It wasn't always like this. I used to almost maintain on 1,200 and just ran as a work out. My metabolism has definitely improved since I started training and eating a more nutritious diet. It's an ever changing process of finding a good routine, a great diet and the right "numbers" for bulking, cutting and maintaining.1 -

How long have you been consistently eating 1800 calories. What has your average weight loss been?0 -
Calorie range is very individual. How tall you are, how much you weigh, how active you are, and any medical issues must be considered. You cannot compare your calorie range to anyone else's. You have to figure out yours. How? By weighing your food (preferably in grams) and logging everything. Determine if that amount of calories makes you lose, maintain or gain.
With that said, I'm a 41-year-old female, 5'9, 177 pounds. I maintain on ~2200 calories. As long as I eat fewer calories than that, I will lose. I prefer to shoot for about 1960 calories per day, because if I make my deficit too big, I feel hungry. If I feel hungry, I eventually crash and burn and binge.1 -
I averaged around 2000 cals a day for most of my weight loss.
SW: 260 lbs
CW: 130 lbs
LW: 122 lbs ( feb 2016)
gain is due to poor tracking and bad choices on my part
I am fairly active. Before August, I would avg 12k steps a day and be in the gym 5 to 6 days a week with my main focus being strength training. I started working in August and have an active job. I only go to the gym 2 to 3 days a week now. I also have a 2 and 4 year old that have me running around a lot.
Every one will have different ideal ranges that work for them. However in reference to a poster above me women should aim for 1200 at least and definitely shouldn't be eating less than 1000 without close supervision of a doctor. It is reckless and very dangerous to do that kind of restriction on your own and I don't even think WLS patients are told to eat that little.1 -

This is such an individual thing. If you are moving toward your goal, why mess with what's working? You need to fuel your workouts too. It's not all about weight loss, but how you are living while you strive towards that.2 -
If you've been losing 0.5 lb per week pretty consistently, feeling fine, then why change?
If you've stopped losing, or are struggling, then yes, drop 100 cal/day.

So much the bolded...
Why do you feel you have "to eat so much" and why is that a bad thing? Are you adhering to only certain types of food?
