Does anyone else experience hair loss after reaching goal weight?

A friend of mine who is 4'11 in height recently lost 27 pounds in 3 months.
She said she used to shed 50 strands of hair a day, but that she's now shedding 200 strands per day.
She looks fantastic and is very happy with her body since she's now a size 0, but is worried whether this is normal.
Anyone have any experience with this?

@FlaggExterminvs = Troll.
Rapid/increased hair loss in women is often a sign that dietary fat is too low. She should talk to her doctor about her food intake, especially her fat intake.4 -
She lost quite a bit of weight very quickly, especially for her size--she likely deprived herself of some necessary nutrients.0

Not normal--see doctor. There are many posts on here by people who have lost alot of weight fast and suffer hair loss--or worse. That's why we always tell people to not cut too low.0
