    So my favorite Scotch maker Macallan recently discontinued a every other year purchase I do, their Fine Oak 21yr. I can't find a bottle anywhere for a reasonable price, so looking to find a decent replacement. I hadn't tried the Fine oak 15yr and it looks like that is settled in and staying around $100, so that might be next. I will also be trying the Edition series to see how it stacks up.

    Won't load for me. about 4 Xmases back I got it as a gift and it was running under$300 for the guy who bought it. Couple years back I re-purchased and it was closer to $350. Last bottle I saw this Xmas that was in stock was listed at over $600+. It was a special treat, but I was already pushing my $$$ boundaries with it. And honestly out Costco pulls in some AMAZING deals at Xmas. I got an Macallan 18yr for $60 that usually runs twice that price. Obviously not as good, but well worth the price. And this year I ended up clearing out a bunch of 12yr bottles I had...like...in one night lol.

    Well it is the ReserveBar site and I've purchased from them, they are fine. But they are selling it for $600. Yes, I agree 100% that Costco is great for some stuff if you can find it there. Pro tip: if there is an asterisk on the Costco price sign, it is a special item that they may never get in stock again - so buy it.

    Thanks. I was fairly certainly above the limit that day. Went through the better part of 4 1/4 and less bottles I had laying around. Whew!
