    I did it last year.

But I lost weight as dictated by how much food I put in my mouth, which was enough to lose 1lb per week and that's exactly what it averaged out at.

I do max30 Insanity. While you can lose without it I like a huge meal in the evening and a good work out makes it possible to maintain my deficit and have that. Im sure if I ate less I would lose more, its an intense work out. I can say Ive gone from 32-25% body fat thanks to this workout (I also do weights 1 day a week and yoga). It took me 2 60 day rounds of the program to get those results.

Im assuming you ate your activity calories and maintained a consistent deficit correct? Rather than using the workout to add to your deficit.

Indeed I did. Or at least most of them as at the time I had a new tracker and couldn't be sure of the accuracy. If I hadn't I'd have been massively undereating.

For those of you who did it, how did you track your burn? I don't have any kind of monitor. In a previous thread, people were recommending I log it as circuit training. Would someone mind plugging this in to see if they get similar numbers to what they got from monitors?

My husband will finish insanity on Saturday. He looks great, but he refused to weigh himself before or after. Male privilege.

How will you track your caloric expenditure to this workout programme? And how will you keep up the same activity level after the programme ends? Chance is, you will gain most of weight back when Insanity is finished and you get back to your normal life.
There are better ways of losing fat and keeping it off for good.

i have a garmin vivo active heart rate monitor + i intend to use my fitness pal to track calories and macros and as for whats next after insanity im thinking hammer and chisel or p90x there are all sorts of things to do to keep intensity and with regular exercise and adjusting calorie intake for the change in burn you can maintain and or still loose depending on your needs
