Starting new job. Track time walking at that or no?

I just got a new job as a server at an event center. It's a large building that has lots of stairs and hosts big events. I am trying to lose 10- 15 lbs in the next 2 months for a vacation. Would it be beneficial to track the time I spend walking at work, or stick with only taking designated gym workout time? I don't work every day, but the days I do work, the amount of time on my feet is significant. Helpful ideas?

Adjust your activity level to account for that (i.e. if you're currently set at sedentary, move up to lightly active).

You should incorporate that into your activity setting when you set up your stats and goals. A server would be lightly active to active, depending how long your shifts are, how often you work, etc. That will then give you a higher calorie target to begin with, and then when you do purposeful exercise you should count and eat back some of those calories.
