Hey! Does anybody else do any kind of combat training? I have been learning Viking combat..sword or axe and shield kind of stuff and want to work out a bit to get stronger so I can hold my own against big hairy dudes. Considering taking my shield on my morning run but might raise a few eyebrows lol

If you take your shield make sure you video the run.....the looks on peoples faces should be hilarious!
I don't do anything like that (it sounds like a riot) but my instinctive reaction would be to suggest a strength program like Stronglifts 5 x 5 just to improve your overall strength (it's a very straightforward program 5 compound lifts broken up in two workouts (A&B) done 3 x weekly - one week you'd do A-B-A then week 2 B-A-B etc) It gets results!0 -
I want to learn how to fight like a viking!!!!0

Oh my gosh, I love it!
And nope, but once I get a chance I would like to take up muay thai or krav maga, sadly, no shield and sword.0
