Intermittent fasting

I give myself an 8 hour window everyday to eat. I eat a variety/plenty of calories inside my window and I have been super successful in maintaining and even losing weight. Is anyone else into IF? :)

    I am but I do 600 calorie days followed by MFP allowance days (1540 at the moment). It does work well although MFP tells me off when I only log 600.

    I think fasting can be a powerful tool and it is flexible so anyone should be able find something that suits them.

    You might get more responses posting in the Food and Nutrition or Getting Started forums rather than this one which is mainly for exercise.

    I use IF on the 5:2 (2 days per week I fast for 24hrs) plan and have found it great for weight-loss, but even better for my glycaemic control.

    I find it's an invaluable tool for almost any diabetic who struggles with control.
