40/40/20 fat relevance in diet

I am trying to keep my macros at 40/40/20 with 20 representing fats. Is it more beneficial to stretch the fat out throughout the day, or is it more effective to have it in a larger dose? I am asking for both weight loss and cell metabolism, and any other relevant factor. I stretch my carbs out throughout the day because I exercise three times a day. I stretch protein out because I use it in smoothies, and right after working out as well as at the end of the day to balance the macros since carbs add up so fast using a lot of veggies in smoothies. I'm just not savvy about the metabolism of the fat.

you can eat once a day or eight times a day doesn't matter what does matter if your getting enough fat per day. Calories from all macro's combined added together is how you figure out your total calorie then create a deficit to lose weight1

Yeah, doesn't really matter...how are you coming about that ratio though...for me, that would give me way more protein than I would actually need and just end up being really expensive glucose.1

I arrived at it after eating at different macro combinations at a maintenance level last year. I felt best closest to this one so I just adapted it after a lot of reading. I was doing strength training at that time. I have PCOS and family history of diabetes, so it helps to keep the cravings to a minimum and it alleviates binges on sweets and processed foods. When I have to cook a lot or don't eat what I have planned, I spiral out of control. I found that I could get more veggies in my diet if I put them in smoothies. More veggie carbs and fewer fruit carbs. Then protein powder solved the problem of having to cook protein laden meals. It is for convenience and I like the way it makes me feel. Also, PCOS is polycystic ovarian syndrome and the best way to control the symptoms is to eat an antiinflammatory diet, so all the veggies and no added sugar in the way I've been eating helps.0 -
Calories are all that matter for weight loss. Macro split is down to personal preference.0

Interesting I find when I eat carbs above 200 grams that I am more inflamed as well maybe more Veggies is the way to go with less Pasta and rice.. Always experimenting I am.. Thanks0
