175 cals in creamer, that's like 1/2 cup creamer, right?
5 tbsp for a 32oz mason jar.
My creamer (heavy whipping cream) is 50 cal per Tbsp., so 175 calories would be 3.5 Tbsp. That is closer to 1/4 cup. Still, I use 1 Tbsp. in a 30 oz. mug. I put it through a blender first, which seems to work similar to a frother. The cream goes much further that way.0 -
I also struggle with caffeine. It's mostly a love/hate relationship. Females in general have a harder time processing it than males do and in general it mostly makes me more tired after a while.
People get confused on this as they think it gives them energy, but in reality it just robs it from you and saps your adrenal glands. It's tricking your body into being in a state a fright or flight for hours on end when there's no real threat.
Also, it's not a true cancer fighter when you throw loads of sugar and creamer into it.
But, like most people, I still love it but my body appreciates decaf more. (Swiss water process!)0 -
Last time I did this, withdrawals from the chemicals lasted 3 days, it sucked so bad, but I made it. Hang in there, sugar dependency is very real..0

I switched to De-Caf about three years ago. Don't miss caffeine at all.0

Coffee doesn't wake me up either, it makes me more sleepy. I always thought that was strange. Glad to know I'm not the only one.0
