Your liver and kidneys do a magnificent job of detoxing you, and if they don't work - you need a doctor, not a detox.
In all seriousness, "detox" in the way you are thinking has been dreamed up by shills to sell products and increase internet traffic. What most "detoxes" do is upset your gut and make you have diarrhoea. You don't detox anything, you just have a very uncomfortable couple of days which may or may not be accompanied by cramps, a general feeling of unwellness, headaches, dizziness and other unpleasantness. Weirdly, people who believe in detoxing will tell you this is because the toxins are leaving your body. In truth, it's your body rebelling against being abused.
Drink water, eat your veggies, and generally take care of yourself. Best "detox" ever.12 -

As said above, detoxes are a fad and totally unnecessary. Some posters have said that they've wound up in the hospital. Better to go the slow but sure route.3

Good to hear. If you'd like to read some more in-depth, science based information about cleanses/detoxes, here are a couple of good sources:

The other posters have handled it well enough. You'd do well to decide right here and now that you've tired of fads. Embrace science!0

Yes definitely going to save my money...0 -
Now is a good time to step out and display your individuality. No detox for you! I find the most successful beauty regime is a running program. Guaranteed to put a blush in my cheeks, a sparkle in my eye, and a spring in my step.2

OP, you deserve:
Not only did you research before, you listened.
Side note, most detoxes are just very low calorie diets which include some type of laxative. So you "clean" your insides by crapping a lot. If you have eating a lot of bad stuff recently or feel blah, I recommend a diet high in fiber, whole foods and drinking a good amount of water. And when that doesn't work, Haribo sugar free gummy bears.9 -

LOL
I seriously could eat a whole bag.
although, i now prefer katjes because it's made with pectin instead of gellatine. they also have sugar free ones, and let me tell you, i have to keep them out of the house so i don't eat a whole bag in a sitting.0 -

My poison of choice is chocolate...
Ever since my encounter with sugar free Haribo I can't look at gummy bears quite the same way...0 -

they are high in sugar alcohols. Some people experience diarrhea or loose bowels with high sugar alcohol foods. I would say it's similar to those olestra chips back in the day.
Most foods containing these have some sort of warning on them:

Some of the most hilarious reading on the internet right there.
Yes, some people have a very adverse reaction to sugar alcohols, and the results can be rather....explosive.0 -
