It added in all those calories you earned from your Garmin.

Doesn't it tell you where it got those calories from when you click exercise? I've only ever checked on the web so I'm not sure how you reach the info on phones.

Exercise calories are double logged. Un-link your old device, and delete the exercise that shouldn't be there from your diary. On the iPhone you can simply swipe left and delete it.

I've had it happen before when switching devices. You basically have to manually know your burn for that day and ignore the site. Tomorrow it should be back to normal.

Just a note to say my Garmin has never done anything this bonkers, something weird is going on somewhere. Unlink it all and start over again to see if that fixes it? Agreed to ignore the calories for now.

It's not double counting the fitbit is definitely unlinked and only has the garmin linked.

I'll unlink it and re do it.

As said I've done nothing so shouldn't be that high..

I never eat them anyway trying to keep to 2k

Which Garmin? I know I can't use the activities on my Garmin VivoSmart HR or it counts the calorie burn from both the activity and the steps, so they get double counted. If it isn't fixed by Jan, I'm getting a different unit. I have mine linked to MFP through Garmin Connect.

It's a garmin forerunner 235 it's linked to garmin connect the MFP today it's OK as I've done 60mins circuits 6k steps and it's only going me a few calories to eat back.
