Do you have motivational photos around your house?

I am thinking about taping photos of skinny people on my fridge and cabinets for motivation. I'm thinking if I see those photos, then it would help me from eating junk.
Do you post photos around your house for motivation? Has it helped?

I used to do that when I was more involved in the ED (Ana) world. They endorse having "thinspo" everywhere. It just made me feel sad and guilty... kind of the opposite of what I wanted. Now I just use the mirror as my thinspo That way I'm not comparing myself to an impossible ideal.
You could always try it though and see how it goes.0 -
I don't and never did. It's not possible to look like someone else, you can only go for the best version of yourself.0

I don't think it's beneficial to have pictures of other people up around your house. While we do it, we really shouldn't compare ourselves to others. Everyone is different. What I did was make a little poster for myself. I put some pictures of me at my heaviest weight, a picture of me at my current weight, and then I listed my goals (mini goals were ten pounds in value, and my major goals were 180, 150, and 130). It reminds me of how far I have come. Compare yourself with yourself. Set mini goals. Believe me it will make it much more attainable... for example, I started at 240. I was just focusing on getting to 230. Once I hit 230, I was happy that I met that mini goal. Then I focused on getting to 220, and so on and so forth. I did reach my biggest goal of 180 pounds. Now I'm working towards 170 pounds. Even though my final goal when I'm finished will be at 130. Sorry for my tangent. I feel that pictures of other women will just be detrimental to your goal. You may feel guilty, and if you are like me, I eat when I feel guilty. I tend to give up. Good luck!!!0
