Has anyone gone this route and lost a lot of weight and felt great too?
It has started to work for me.
Any thoughts?

I have to eat gluten free due to medical reasons. I think the only way going gluten free helps you lose weight is if you are swapping out the breads and pastas etc with REAL FOOD. Lettuce wrap instead of bread, zuchinnni noodles instead of spaghetti etc . If you just swap out your bread, crackers, chips etc for the boxed GF processed junk you might even be eating more calories2

All my life I have had digestive issues. Including excessive bloating and gas and chronic constipation. When I did the Elimination Diet I felt better and a lot of my health symptoms and allergies went away. I learned which were the foods & additives that caused the migraines and other issues.
I realized wheat & rye specifically cause me pain & swelling. I know this may not answer your question, but it's just my experience.
