Lots of good advice here. Read it all and choose what works for you.
It can be done. I started on 6/16/16. Down 91.4 in 5 months. Calories in, calories out. I go to WW, and I track my points there, but calories in/out here. Focused on activity and FitBit. No magic to it. You have to want it, and you have to be willing to work at it. Sometimes that means saying "no" to things that you want to say "yes" to. You have to be willing to make changes. The question is, "What are you willing to do TODAY to be better than you were YESTERDAY?". Ask it, answer it, do it, repeat. One foot in front of the other.1
