I can live without ALL of them. The one that pisses me off the most when I forget it? Either my headphones or a hairtie. :D

I also underestimated the pull up bar, which I personally love. Inverted sit ups are the best.

I don't ever run, but am going to try the jump rope

    Desire.

OK, not what you're looking for. If I had to pick one, I guess it would be my Powerblocks.

Other than a barbell and weights, chalk. It is my vice! I use it for all the heavy deadlifts and I'd say it stops me from losing my grip and further ripping my lil baby hands.

My ability to move and think are the only things I can lose that will prevent me from being fit. Find, scrap, build.

I could say power rack and weights or running shoes ant gps watch but honestly it was f fitbit that got me off my butt and moving. My wife decided to lose weight and got me one to compete with her. Now 6 months later and almost 100lbs lost between us we are going strong.

I have to admit that I get so much into my data, that if I don't have my HRM, my motivation just plummets. Recently the battery went dead in my H7 strap. I replaced it, but it still didn't work. So I bought another on Amazon and fedex'd the next day.

My little $5 Timex stopwatch. My lifting really took off when I stopped guessing how long to wait between sets and actually timed it, and sometimes the only way to get through a run is by counting down the seconds remaining until you get to stop.
