1/2 Pound vs. 1 Pound Per Week

Hey there.
I'm a 5'5", 33 year old woman, currently in the process of re-losing some weight. Approximately 16 pounds to go, give or take a couple.
I've been keeping my activity level set at lightly active, with a daily target of roughly 1500 calories per day. However, I recently did some step tracking and realized that my daily activity level is often closer to sedentary, as we are spending more of our time indoors (time change, temperature drop, etc.). I have changed my calorie goal to 1 pound a week, at a sedentary level, which brings me down to 1270 calories per day.
I know I can eat at this level, as that is how I did things the first time around, several years ago, but I'm wondering if, with a goal about 16 pounds away, slower weight loss might be better. I know I'm going to miss those 500 calories.
Thoughts?

With that little left to lose and if you really want those extra calories, then set it to .5lbs per week. Should give you an extra 250 calories to consume.1

Oops. 250, yes!0

You can't beat the maths I'm afraid. If you are less active (CO) then you require less calories in (CI). If you're able to stick to that goal, then I would say to go for it.1

I'd switch to 0.5 lb, but just because I am constantly food focused if I have a higher calorie deficit.0
