Hi ya'll!
I just realized this as I'm trying to pick up on something to write, college has indeed ruined me. I've gained 30 pounds since I've been here and now that I'm graduating I need this weight to come off. I do not want to feel uncomfortable around my family, boyfriend, future employers or co-workers. I'm a pretty happy person and friendly but my weight is making me feel down. Sigh. I reaally hope this website and your support can help me attain my goals. I wish the best of luck to everyone with their endeavors.

Ugh do I ever know the feeling! I am in college as well and of course have picked up some (much unwanted) weight. Not feeling comfortable in your own skin is one of the worst feelings in the world. I am new to this program too, I only started a few days ago. Just like you said, I am tired of my weight getting me down. But we CAN take it back off and we will I'm here for ya, lets do this!0

Hi girls! I too am a college student and am struggling to get all my extra weight off! I've been a member of this site for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it! You will find so much support and encouragement here. I wish you both all the luck in the world. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or just need some advice or encouraging words! Remember- we're all in this together.0

I'm trying to lose weight FOR college! If I get the financial aid I need, I'll be starting in the fall. I'm 30 years old and about 85-90 pounds overweight. The college I'm going to be attending has a huge hill and I don't want to be the one who arrives in class red faced, drenched with sweat and panting. I've only been on this site for a few days but I'm liking it already. Logging in and seeing posts about how many calories I burned, or that I finished the day below my calorie goal is like a constant pat on the back. Good luck to you and to everyone else here!

I know what you mean. I hold down a full time overnight position, go to school full time, and have 5 children so I eat on the run. By the time I found this website I had gained almost 85 lbs. It seemed so much easier to put the weight on then it has been to take it off. It sucks. Good luck on your weight loss just remember when you start to get down and it seems that you are not seeing any results that it took longer than a day to put the weight on and its going to take longer than a day to take it off. Again good luck. Feel free to add me as a friend we can support each other.0

You guys are amazing! thanks for being so friendly and your encouraging words. I'm also glad you're awake so late, I tend to be a late rider. It's so true what people say that its so easy to put on weight and so hard to have it come off. I mean I don't drink soda, just water, eat two or 3 meals a day and work and walk everywhere. I would think I would have lost weight by now OR not gained as much but clearly my metabolism decided that it's taking a vacation from working on my body and it's leaving me to struggle. I'm glad you are around and I think we can do it. I just hope I can motivate myself enough.
on a side note- I bought my first bike in over 10years today!!! Really excited about it and my bum hurts. lol. see ya'll around0 -
I totally gained in college too! I've been out for 10 years, and I'm the size I was as a Freshman. This place is pretty cool. I wanted to lose 43 lbs or so and I"m at 31 lbs off! SO exciting! I know that you'll love it! There are wonderful people here. The plan is good. Work it! But work hard for it!
Hope you exceed your dreams here!0
