To everyone... how often do you weigh your self?
Im just starting out and was thinking about doing twice a week in the beginning to monitor myself. Maybe Thursday as a midweek check and on Monday to see how the weekend went.
Opinions??

I used to do it every day, but now I do it Tuesdays and Fridays only. Well, unless I get a reading that seems wildly inaccurate, like on Tuesday my weight was up 4 lbs from the previous Friday, so I weighed myself again on Wednesday and was a half pound down below Friday's weight.0

I weigh myself daily and track my macros/calories together in a spreadsheet. I can identify how and why my body reacts to different things.0

That's essentially what I do. Since I lift Sun, Mon, Wed, and Thu, I weigh after my rest days, so Sunday and Wednesday mornings. I sometimes weigh myself on other days, just out of curiosity, but Sun and Wed are my "official" weigh-ins.
Of course, I'll probably change that at some point, but it's what I do for now.0 -
I weigh every day. My scale seems to have built in plateaus in that I will weigh exactly the same for 6 days or so and then drop a pound and a bit and then weigh that same weight for another 6 days or so. That is a good in a way because I know what to expect but bad because it`s obviously not accurate! Weighing every day helps me to see the pattern and also to see the impact of things like eating a lot of salt, time of the month, getting carried away with chocolate etc.0

There's not really any rules...weigh in as often as you want. If you weigh in more frequently be prepared to see fluctuations both up and down...if these bother you, you will need to step away from the scale...but really, you should educate yourself about them.0
