If I only lift weights, I gain weight, if I only do cardio, I lose muscles.
Should I just mix both, or what is the best way to lose belly fast, while getting bigger muscles ?
Thanks

To lose the belly, you have to eat at a caloric deficit. To gain muscles, you have to eat at a surplus (and lift).

I would eat at a small deficit and lift. It just takes time this way.

Some may suggest bulking and cutting (after you've lost the weight you want to lose).

You can lose belly fat and gain muscle by only lifting weights. I've done it myself and half the guys at my gym almost never do cardio and they look very fit with flat stomachs. If you like lifting, keep lifting, the key is cleaning up your diet and eating the right amount of the right foods. Get your protein, drink water, avoid sugar, get 7-9 hrs of sleep. If you follow those simple rules and keep lifting, you will see results. Good luck.

Eat around maintenance, lift heavy things.
