Hi all, I'm Emily ☺

I'm 23 from the UK and have been overweight for as long as I can remember. The last few years my weight has increased every year by at least 14lbs. I have PCOS which in the past I've used as an excuse for being big, but that has to change.

I'm a roller derby girl and I'm in training right now but I can't make the team unless I can complete 27 laps in 5 mins, and I will never achieve it at this weight, I'm too heavy and too unfit. I want this so badly and hoping it will spur me on.

Like most I've been at the start of this journey many times before, but with my new dream of making the team I hope I can be persistent.

Happy to share my journey with you all, so feel free to add me as a friend!

Hi Emily, I enjoy roller derby, I have a friend who used to play and I know what a tough and competitive sport that is.
I hope that you can make your dream come true and make the team and will happily chat if you want some support to get there.

I'm an ex roller derby player (left about 4 years ago, played for about 5). You're welcome to add me.
