Can I adapt this idea? I have 10lbs to go to reach my goal weight. Since that would only take me midway through CoS, could I do this as a timeoriented challenge rather than a weightoriented one, to get the most out of the structure? If I assume 1lb per book and use the numbers above as days rather than pounds, taking today as my start date...

This is awesome! Thank you for such a fun challenge!! So, I'm starting Philosopher's Stone with this week and looking at the overall loss I'll be at my goal range between OOTP and HBP. At that point it's more about how I feel, what my body composition looks like and how clothing fits.

I LOVE this idea! I have 4050lb to lose so if I may I'll count half pounds otherwise I'll be stuck somewhere in GoF or OotP and never know how/if/when Voldemort is defeated!!
