Why is my handle on these boards not linked to my account?!

I just realized this, and can't seem to understand how it happened.

    When I tried going to the boards a month (or two) ago it asked me to create a handle, which I thought was odd since it is supposed to be linked to my account.

    I had never clicked on my name until now, but it shows me as an "inactive" MFP member, which is very far from the truth.

    Anyways, I might have to get on a computer and figure this out. It is driving me nuts.
