Ok so ive done this quite a few times in the past but i just ate pretty bad for about a week and gained about 7 lbs. I know its water weight and ill drop back down after another week or so of being healthy, but does anyone else look horrible when this happen? Like my muscles have lost most definition and my love handles buldge significantly more just from this short time. Like i said its happened to me plenty of times just wondering if looks changed drastically for others as well

I usually end up looking 6 months pregnant when that happens. If on top of my over-indulgence (by that I mean maintenance + 1000 for 1-2 days before I feel so disgusted that I drop back down to my regular deficit) and the therewith associated water weight happens around my period... I end up with questions about when I'm due...
That alone is reason enough for me to stop over indulging. It's just plain annoying.0 -
Yeah it's annoying, the puffy face is the worst.2

My stomach can literally go from fitness model to chubby chick in the space of one meal if I eat lots, it's unfortunate when you look great going out to dinner then youre left with everything feeling a bit tight after haha2

Yes. This happens to us all. The carbs and sodium cause us to retain water. A day or two of eating nutrient dense whole foods should straighten you out a little faster.0

Yep! If I eat too much sodium or don't get enough sleepI look puffy all over. If I eat foods I have sensitivities to like gluten or alcohol I get a big bloated belly and look pregnant. If I stop exercising for several days I also seem to puff up too, even if I'm eating fine. It takes a while to dissipate. I feel like the more body fat I lose the less drastic the all-over bloating becomes. Not sure if that's just in my head or if water weight tends to be stored in body fat??0
