IBD or Mesenteric Panniculitis, slow process

Hello, I'm currently trying to lose weight while dealing with stomach issues, I went to the hospital months ago and a CT scan showed 'mesenteric Pannicultis' basically a rare inflammatory disease of the small intestine and colon. I'm still waiting for another CT scan in a few weeks to see if anything has changed but has anyone gone through this too? I find I can't eat a lot of foods without feeling sick (nausea) afterwards, yet it's still hard to lose weight, (I'm about 30-35 lbs overweight) I'm just very frustrated
