Any daily Aleve users out there ?

I take generic Aleve everyday for pain since I had ankle surgery on September 9th, I was told it would take some time to get back to normal which I understand. Has anyone experienced weight gain or just have had trouble losing weight while taking Aleve on a regular basis (I've read it can cause some water retention too )

    Medication does not directly cause weight gain, but rather alters the CICO equation by either increasing appetite, decreasing activity due to lethargy, etc.

    With that being said, I do not feel affects of normal Aleve, which I have been on due to a running knee injury, but if I take PM, I definitely notice an increase in appetite due to the diphenhydramine.
