My key to maintaining motivation and control during the holidays

I prefer #2 over #1. If I don't want to go back to #1, I need to stay on track.

I don't think of Holidays as time off. I treat them like any other day, so I still hit the gym consistently and still eat within limits all year around.

Isn't it great how much more functional your body is when you drop that much weight? Back aches, hip aches and hobbling around suck. Last year I refused to get caught up in the holidays, and this year I'm doing the same.1

Wow you are a motivation!! My goal for the year was to reach onederland and maintain that through the holidays. I've achieved the first step and I'm on track to achieve the second part.3

You see so many versions of #1 around and most of them probably think it's too late for them to get to #2. You are the proof that it is possible.
It looks like life must be so much more comfortable for you now - as a larger busted woman myself one of the good things about losing weight is less weight in the front to carry round!! You are inspirational thanks for posting.1 -

I started when I was 59. I was convinced that it was too late, and that it was metabolically impossible for MY body to lose weight. Now at 61 I'm in the best shape of my life and am beginning to outperform fitness buddies who've been working out far longer than I have. And, yes, life is much more comfortable in many ways. Lack of pain and the ability to move are wonderful things!0 -

Yes, the last one was a year old. I was so shocked when I saw this pic - it must be the camera angle because "I" can't possibly be that thin, LOL!1
