Going over daily sugar!

Hi, I'm pretty new to MFP and whilst doing ok, to reach my food calorie goals. My sugar consumption is SO much higher than I thought it was. I'm currently doing the 10 day Herbalife belly buster and for all I'm staying quite full. The shakes have rather a lot of fructose in them, so as soon as I consume anything else containing sugar I go over my daily limit. Anybody with any non-sugarary yet sweet tooth fulfilling snack ideas, would be appreciated. (Especially from the girls as I've just hit that dreaded time of the month!) x

If I eat an apple and eat a Greek yogurt I'm over. My philosophy is since I don't have diabetes and I have my levels checked every 6 months I don't worry about it. I do hate looking at those blaring red numbers but ah if that's the worst life has to offer I'm OK.0

Unless you have a medical reason to monitor your sugar intake, don't worry about it.
Just in case you weren't aware of this feature, when you go to the message boards section, there is a button called search and you can type in a keyword/phrase (ex: sugar) and you can see the threads that have already been created on the topic. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

So many things wrong...first, stop wasting your money on the herbalife scam, not to say you won't lose weight on it, but it's a complete waste of money. Second, unless you are diabetic or pre-diabetic, then there is no reason to concern yourself with sugar intake, instead just track total carb intake.0

This is suppose to have almost 0 sugar and keep insulin level. I am going to try it today but thought I would share......
2-Minute Cake With Almond Flour
1/4 cup Truvia Baking Blend
1/2 cup almond flour
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 egg
2 tbsp half & half
Directions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until the mixture is even and smooth (no lumps).
Pour 1/4 of the mixture into a mug and microwave for 2 minutes.
Refrigerate remaining batter for later!0 -

That recipe look rather tasty too, just need to buy the ingredients now.
Oh, and in regards to the Herbalife. I'm only doing it for 10 days in order to help initially drop some pounds to help with motivation. I'm one of those girls who likes to see some kinda result pretty quickly! x0 -
Butterfinger Protein Shake:
1/2 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 Cup of Water
1 Tbsp. Sugar-Free/Fat-Free Butterscotch Jell-O Pudding Mix (Dry)
1 Tbsp. Sugar-Free/Fat-Free Chocolate Jell-O Pudding Mix (Dry)
1 Tbsp. All Natural Peanut Butter
1 Scoop of Protein Powder Isolate
1/8 tsp. of Xanthan Gum
1-1.5 Cups of Ice depending on the consistency you want
Blend all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!!!0
