About 35 lbs lost so far. I've got a LONG way to go, but it's encouraging to see some progress! Great job everyone! This is my first time posting on here, but so many of you are so inspiring.

The first pic I was miserable and felt so old... the second pic was the beginning of me starting to come alive for the first time in years. Now almost a year later, I am still feeling good. I still have lots of work to do, but I feel at least 10 years younger than my age!

Never down play what an amazing change you have made in your life. "only" 40 pounds is more than my toddler weighs!! You have lost more than a 3 year old!

The difference in both of these pictures is a month and 3 days. The one where I'm outside, was taken on 11/04/16 and the one where I'm inside, was taken today 12/07/16.

I hadn't really been able to see any changes in myself except here and there, but I noticed in these that my wobble (the fat under my chin) has shrunk quite a bit. Since the first picture was taken I've lost nine pounds so I guess some of that might have been in my face, so that's totally a yay! in my book.

Now at 197lbs (2017)

So, I actually just started (again) on MFP and have been looking at the results page frequently for motivation. I decided that one day, I was going to be brave enough to post my pics and then realized, "I already have my own little success story!"

It's only a 20 lb difference, but most of what has changed in the last few years is what has happened in my heart and head. Looking now to keep going and see if I can hit around 165lbs. Blessings to all of you...may your goals become realized!
