I weigh 196.8 lbs. I gained over a 1 lb. over Thanksgiving. So now I have to take it off in 3 days!
How do I lose weight? I hope everyone has a Fantastic & Blessed Thursday! Linda!![<3 <3](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/heart.png)

Eat normally the next few days. It's unlikely you gained a pound of fat in just the one day. Why the three day deadline?1

Why 3 days? Drink some extra water and eat at a deficit. Same way everyone else loses weight.0

Your weight is a range, not a fixed number; normal water weight fluctuations can be several pounds. So you can't possibly measure losses or gains of a single pound. You can only extrapolate short term fat loss/gain by knowing your exact intake and estimate your expenditure and weighing yourself regularly - for a real trend to show up on the scale, it will take a few weeks of frequent and reliable weigh-ins.
Why do you think you have to weigh one pound less in three days?
Do you not know how to lose weight? It's simple: You eat less than you burn, consistently and for a long time.0 -
I think you did well only going up by 1lb after a Thanksgiving feast.
Like the others said, drink plenty of water (don't overdo it) and I'm sure it'll drop back off after 2-3 days.0
