Anyone else track their progress using spreadsheets?

I created a spreadsheet that graphs quite a bit of info as I go, but I'm always wanting new ideas and to add to my own.

Does anyone else do this? Would anyone want to share ideas or show their spreadsheet? I'm really spreadsheet-happy and wanted to know who else does this.

Yes! I keep columns with the date, my weight, calories, exercise, and cups of water. I love seeing everything simple and in a spreadsheet.

I use the Body Tracker app, you can log your body measurements, weight, body fat percentage, etc and you can create graphs of all of these within the app too.

I also keep a daily log of my weight, body fat percentage, and muscle percentage just in the notes on my phone, this way I can easily compare weekly or monthly and make sure the numbers are going in the right direction.

I also downloaded a separate calendar app that I use to track my exercise. I set it for weekly view and color code the entries- purple for weight lifting workouts, green for hiking, teal for walking, blue for hiit cardio, yellow for yoga, etc... This makes it easy to quickly assess at a glance if I've been doing enough activity and what types. I keep it completely separate from my regular calendar for meetings & social events.

I don't keep a seperate spread sheet but I do look at the report section of MFP. I can look at the last 7 or 30 days and know where I am. Sometimes I'm surprised by the amount of exercise I've been doing etc. I love data! It's a reality check for sure.

I do have a separate spreadsheet that I keep outside of MFP that tracks weekly starting weight, a goal weight for that weight (-2 lbs), actual ending weight, % of my starting body weight lost that week and total for a 4 week period. At the top I have total loss in lbs and % body weight, as well as current BMI. Just the act of organizing that, as well as updating MFP daily with food logs and weekly with my weigh-ins, helps me stay accountable. I am adding tracking on my spreadsheet for my husband who just announced he's going to start doing keto with me.

There are a few of these posts recently, I have one spreadsheet I use for MFP data where I track daily weight, BMI, daily calorie input, Macros Grams & Percentages, Exercise Calories and Minutes, Harris-Benedict Calc for net calories, walking and running distances. I also have some conditional formatting to highlight when I am over or under calorie or macro goals. Notes are always important to track thoughts or challenges at any given point in time.

I set my main spreadsheet up per month with monthly weight and distance goals. I graph BMI and Calorie Input and Macros. I tweak and add columns if I get a new idea on something I want or need to watch.

I use MFP to collect the data and transfer it to Excel daily or every couple of days. It is useful snapshot.
