How To Lose More Deep Abdominal Fat

I have lost about 30 pounds slowly. I do find counting calories to be easier to stick with than other radical changes. But I cannot tell that I have lost any of my abdominal fat. Does anyone have suggestions on how to improve this? I know this is the worst fat to carry and I need to lose this to feel better about what I have lost. I feel like a watermelon with legs!

I have the same issues... I suggest abdominal and core exercises to tighten the muscles in your stomach. This will help your belly look flatter. The fat will slowly melt off as u continue to lose weight. Good luck. Sometimes just another 10 lbs more will make a huge difference

I found that my visceral fat went quite quickly - i lost weight but no size. the subcutaneous fat went when i reached about 12% body fat. The skin was a little lose but it firmed up within 6 months with no special effort.

Have you been taking measurements every month or so?

    Have you been taking photos?

Has anyone commented on your weight loss?

Have you tried on a smaller sized item of clothing from time to time?

There are many ways to gauge weight loss. Don't stick with just one.

If you want to help your visceral fat along, try to sleep well and minimize stress.

I have the same problem.. My charming husband noted that my belly has gotten bigger! But it's the fact that I've lost weight on my hips, thighs and rib area which makes my belly look bigger in comparison than it really is. For me, it starts deflating once I'm down to the last 5 or so lbs left to lose.

There's no way to burn a specific area of fat. You're going to have to just keep at it with your diet and adjust when you are not longer progressing or add in a form of cardio or weight lifting. Cardio wise, just go for a long walk or even incline walking. Do anything to help you burn more calories then you already do.

Yep, if you're anything like me  My body simply refuses to do as it's told!
I swear I'll lose weight from my fingers and toes before my belly, which holds on to the bitter end..
