Hi! I'm a 37yo mom of 2 teens. My husband is really into fitness lhes really buff, but also really into eating, and he can eat whatever he wants and not gain a pound. I'm currently at 200, want to get to 150, but most of alI I want to feel good in my body again, and maybe run a half marathin in a year???? Maybe????? I'm not getting any younger, and most health issues begin at my age.
I was a professional contemporary dancer with an eating disorder, once I stopped starving myself, stopped dancing, and went to grad school, I ballooned from 130 to 200. I know how to eat healthy in general (I'm a Nurse Practitioner), but I don't know what will work for me that will stick, and I'll never go back to oranges, red bull, and cigarettes. :)
I'm starting tomorrow, 11/28. And I'm super pumped. Looking for people to have positive reinforcements with, and encouraging messages so I don't slip, and I want to be someone else's motivator.
I know we can do this. This is going to be awesome!!!! Let's keep each other pumped!
