I have read over countless post on here and people get so caught up on the calorie count they forget the reason they are eating them. The goal, to fuel your body, so take care of it. Weight Watchers kills me, with points for crap you don't need to eat like muffins and soup. I can't even tell you how much more food you could eat if you ate healthier food. Sure watch for the calorie content, but make the calories you are eating worth a darn. One may say no to half an avocado because of fat and calories, but yes to a 100 oreo pack or 200 calories bran muffin tops. I realize there is that number that says, hey, you cross this and you will remain fat, but being skinny does not mean being healthy. Don't confuse the two. Once you master the calories focus then on the quality of those calories. Because if you're thin, but have hair like straw, skin that breaks out, brittle nails and feel week with joints that hurt, it might just be that those 1200 calories aren't really worth a d@mn unless you focus on what they're made of.

Sometimes (rarely, but sometimes) I like to eat oreos - I'm not ashamed. I also like avocados, chicken, fruits, veggies, Sonic breakfast burritos. Some things are nutritionally better than others, but I'm going to enjoy my food and enjoy my life.

    Moderation is my friend.

I agree, I love wine and cheese, and well pizza, and like you said in moderation. I just hate all the processed food that is pushed under the terms "diet food" chemically altered food, I guess is to long. :)

Why don't I need to eat muffins or soup? WTH? If it fits my nutrient intake for the day, I eat what I like. There's nothing wrong with that.

And as for avocado, I always say yes to the whole thing. Avocado is awesome.

^^ This I agree with. My diet is what I eat, not a label on pre-packaged nastiness posing as food.
