Just wondering if anyone is it has experienced this. I've been doing the calorie counting for the last 2 months since Oct 3rd. I am actually doing amazing, went from 307lbs down to 269lbs .. Still wanna get down to 220 though. But over the last few days no matter what I eat I am crazy hungry. Other than Thanksgiving and yesterday I have been pretty good about staying under my calories. I mostly eat salads, chicken, fish, and some healthier kinda snacks like white cheddar popcorn and a bag or funyions to have some enjoyment. Is there anything I can eat to curb my appetite? What's crazy is this has been harder than the first week of doing the counting calorie stuff

Protein and fiber heavy foods.1

You might be going too low. Work in protein and a small amount of healthy fat0

What's your calorie target each day? What's your weekly weight loss goal? Are exercising?
If you are eating too little, then even protein and fiber won't squelch your hunger. If you are exercising, you may be in need of eating more food, to replace the calories burned in your exercise.
A salad is good, but it's still just leaves. Many other vegetables should also be in your food plan.
There are a lot of different ways to get fiber. Try to get 35 grams of fiber daily.0 -
I usually do 1820 calories a day, but the thing is I don't get time to exercise very much but I always stay under my target goal. LOL but that does remind me I need to buy for Fiber One bars those things are awesome.0

Oh and by the way I have it set to 2 pounds per week0 -
Make sure and get 7-8hrs of sleep at night to keep your stress hormones at bay otherwise you will be hungrier.0

Make sure you are getting enough water. It could be that you are actually needing hydration not food.0

You've been going for 8 weeks and you've lost 40lbs so roughly 5lbs/week. That's a pretty aggressive deficit for a sustained period of time. Your body is literally starving so it's telling you to eat more food. It's probably time to slow things down a little in terms of rate of weight loss. Generally the closer you get to goal, the slower you should lose. Try upping your calories by 500 (or even more) and see how that effects your weight loss. If you're still losing fairly quickly (3-4lbs a week) you can add even more calories in. You'll probably find it more sustainable long term.1
