I've steadily increased my running mileage this month. Perhaps a bit too aggressively as I've spent all of November losing and gaining the same 5 pounds. This morning was my best workout yet: 1/4 mile walk, 2 mile run, 1/4 mile walk, 1 mile run and then a 1/2 mile cool down walk. With hills and everything

Congrats. I'd be tempted to ditch the second walk/run, eslow down and extend the first 2 miles and just see how far you can go. I'd be surprised if you didnt make it to 3 miles in one go. Then all you need is another 176yards and you've ran 5k continuous.3
