Okay i have not been dieting. Not exercising. Ive been doing IF 16:8. But thats it. Ive had a whole bag of herseys kisses a night for 5 days in a row. How in 10 days does the scale say ive lost 30 pounds???????? Starting 342 now 310.

Yeah, sounds like your scale is not accurate. I went to the doctor once, the nurse commented that I had lost a lot of weight since last visit a year previous...20 pounds. Someone screwed up because I would've noticed weighing in at 270, it was a shock to me when she said it.0

I would also check the scale for malfunction. Were you weighing at the same time, same scale, same conditions?
30 lbs in 10 days is pretty unlikely for not doing anything. You may have lost some but not 30 lbs.
Have you taken body measurements or noticed clothes fitting differently at all?0 -
did you swallow 20 tape worms? otherwise known as...yeah your scales broken.4

If weight loss for no reason continues, you may want to see your doctor about it. There are quite a few health problems that can cause weight loss.6

1. Have you had your health checked? Not trying to scare you.
2. Even if you think you've been eating a lot, isn't it possible you're eating under your TDEE? Have you figured that/done the numbers on that?
I have had horrible trouble getting even a half-pound off a week since this summer no matter what I did, then I overate like a G.D. pig on Thanksgiving to the point, literally, of thinking in the middle of the night that I was going to throw up, and wound up losing a pound and a half for that week out of nowhere and a pound since (five days later). So...go figure. It does happen.
BUT that amount of weight...I'd be looking into the above two possibilities. (Well, plus checking your scale's accuracy, of course.)0 -
batteries in scale are dying0

If you can verify the weigh in of 310 is accurate I would be willing to bet the weigh in of 342 was not. To lose 30lbs in 10 days that would be an average of 3lbs a day meaning each day you ate some 10,500 calories less than you needed. What I'm saying is it's impossible.

Have you had any tummy issues in these 10 days? have you reduced sodium, maybe without noticing?0
