(Is this the right place for a NSV ~aka non-scale victory~ post? Oh well, I find it motivational!)
Couldn't wait to get home to share this!
I use a "belly bag" (a small pouch that straps around you) for a purse but most of the time over the last 6 months or so, I sling it on my shoulder because I overstuff it and the weight strains the poor abused muscles in my back (dealing with too much weight, they easily get pulled when I move the wrong way). Today, going into the grocery store, my back has been feeling good so I decided to clip it on the usual way. Only once I had it snapped, it almost fell right down, because the length it was set for was far too big for my current size! I knew I had been losing a few pounds, but I had no idea of the inches I had lost around my big ole' belly! I see now why the app always bugs you to enter in your measurements, so when I got home I did go finally use the myotape I ordered when I started mfp, (but hadnt used!), and compared it to the measurements I previously took with my sewing measuring tape, and I have lost 4 inches off the widest part of my belly
After picking up a pound on thanksgiving (oops) I wasnt feeling so encouraged, but now I feel FABULOUS!
does anyone else hear the chorus "Celebrate, Celebrate, dance to the muuu-sic" in their heads or is it just me? lol
