Whey immediately before bed

Hi guys, I'm new to here and pretty new to training

Recently I've started strength training three days a week (cardio Tuesday and Thursday because I'm pretty overweight)

I have been told I should consume whey protein post strength workouts

Only problem is, I start training at 10:30pm and don't usually finish until 12:30am and then go to sleep pretty much straight away

Will having this shake (two scoops of gold standard whey) right before bed have a negative effect on me?

If relevant my diet is about 1500cal per day consisting of 300g of lean chicken and the rest being heaps of vegetables and fruits (a teaspoon of oil for cooking chicken and some linseeds for good fats)

I take 1x scoop of c4 pre workout on strength days, 1x scoop of xtend bcaa supp on strength days aswell as the 2x scoops of whey

Any assistance/advice would be appreciated

    Only if it messes with you on an individual basis and screws your sleep up. Nothing inherently wrong with it though.

    I would recommend casein protein before bed though as it's a slower release.

    On a side note, the "post workout" shake is highly overrated in general.
