I'm currently a full time college student and also work part time at a gas station running back and forth. I use to be at a healthy weight but I've lost about 9 pounds due to a hectic school and work schedule. I'm desperate to gain as much weight as possible in the next 4 weeks but can only make it to the gym 3-4x a week! Any help and advice please! I'm also currently starting a mass gainer. Tips tips

Find how many calories it takes for you to maintain your weight. Add 250 calories to that.

3-4x a week is great for most lifting programs.1 -

Since you're trying to gain the weight in the next 4 weeks, then I would add 500 calories to your daily intake. And when you go to the gym, instead of doing cardio, only do weights, heavy weights, that will help you put on weight quick1

In 4 weeks you will not gain any appreciable muscle without drugs and lots of food. Set a more reasonable time frame.2

As a full time college student , I can totally relate . Instead of getting caught up in the tracking calorie game to gain weight , I suggest simply eating more . At school it can be tough with a hectic schedule to eat in a surplus but it can be rather easy to eat a lot of calories if you plan ahead and keep your diet simple. One of the best suggestions I give to people is to buy a slow cooker . Go out get 5lbs of chicken breast ($1.99 per lb at Walmart ) as well as hot sauce . With a slow cooker you can throw in the chicken in the morning , work all day and come home to a meal. With 5lbs worth you can prep up 10 meals worth. As for carbs you can cook rice in the slow cooker as well. Use the gainer for conveinance but rememeber to prioritize eating whole food meals.2

The gym does not make you gain weight, excess calories do. All the gym does is help ensure that the weight gained is more muscle than fat.2

how long did it take to lose the weight? Putting it on will probably take the same amount of time.
I think you know that you need to eat more calories, and lift heavy. Good luck.0 -
