Vegan at the Christmas market - what to eat?

Hi all,

my first Christmas as a vegan and now the Christmas Market time begins.
What do those experienced vegan of you usually eat if you hang out and meet friends there?

    I am in the US so I don't know how different the food vendor selections are here, but I would probably have some roasted nuts and spiced cider if I went to the one in my area.

    Be careful of roasted nuts as some of them have egg whites as a coating before the spices go on! Honestly I bring a granola bar and drink spiced wine. It's easier and usually more waist and wallet friendly.
