Hey guys pretty new here. I'm trying to burn fat. Should I split my macros evenly across the board. 33% for fat, protein, and carbs?

I do 30P/30F/40C.
Are you also creating a caloric deficit and lifting/working out?0 -

Yes I'm lifting weight and I'm in a deficit if I calculated it correctly. It's so many different ways I researched online. But I used (body weight)x15. To find my maintenance calories then lowered it by 600 to creat the deficit. Is that correct? I'm not to sure honestly lol.0 -

Why don't you just use MFP's setup?0 -
Calorie deficit and 0.8g/lb of protein and you're good to go.0

Calculate your TDEE online and see if you arrive at the same calorie count. And/or use MFP and compare. You'll get slightly different numbers from all, but you can see about where you need to be.1

MFP suggestions are different from most nutritionists. My nutritionist and trainer have me at 1 g protein x lb. of body weight, under 40 g sugar, 40+ g fat and within 100 g for carbs. Kinda goes by your body type, goals and weight.1 -

Weigh and input everthing on MFP but do not be overly concerned by the other macros. Calories are what count.1 -
