Hey all. growing up i was big. like... very big. i had a lot of mental health issues lost 140lb in a year, and landed myself in an eating disorder unit for 4 months. im determined to not let that happen ever again! for the last few years ive maintained a good weight, until a year ago when my spine collapsed and sciatica and all the issues with a bad spine! i gained alot of weight! i went from very active job, home, garden... to not being able to even move. i had surgery and can finally walk again, but, i have 45 lbs to loose to reach the "healthy" BMI range which would really improve my spinal issues too. im here, because instinct tells me "just dont eat then" but i know exactly where that leads! so counting really helps stick to a good range.
I can't do weights, bend, lift or twist, jump, run, or anything. literally all i can do is walk. is walking actually a good excersize? or swimming? (unsure how ill do swimming, but no pressure on the spine so doc says its ok!
