Sugar

Its everywhere! Should I be more worried about sugar? Carbs? or just concentrate on my calorie goals. Lost about 14, need to lose 17 more but seem to be over the limit on sugar every day no matter the total calorie count. Is chicken, fish and greens the only way?

Sugar isn't as important as your macros (protein/carbs/fat). If you've already lost 14 lbs going over everyday, that should be proof that it isn't really relevant to your weight loss. Have you stalled?

Unfortunately the answer will be -- it depends.

Metabolic syndrome with insulin resistance? Yeah, limiting carbs/sugar has some advantages in that situation.
Work out a great deal, burning off stores of glycogen? You actually need the carbs or it will impede performance.

Personally, I avoid processed sugar but don't mind the ones that come in fruits (where the sugars are in things with fiber).

It's also possible to simply moderate your added sugars. That works for many people too.

There's no perfect answer. A little trial and error can help. Try a few things and see what works best for you.

No seems like I will stay the same for 7 to 10 days and then one morning I'm down 1 to 1 1|2. Guess it just concerned me that the sugar # on the calorie counter was always red at the end of the day. Thinking maybe your right protein/carbs/and fat have all been steady and I've lost the weight. And I've been in the gym steady so I should be using the carbs. Thanks for the reply.

God Sugar ( Fruit ) is good.
Human Sugar is bad ( Soda, Cocacola, Sucrose, etc..).
    The difference is: the fiber.
